Innovative research by three higher degree researchers from our University has featured in the newly released ARC Centre of Excellence for Enabling Eco-Efficient Beneficiation of Minerals (COEMinerals) Annual Report 2024.
PhD students Margaret Amosa, Hamidreza Saffarian and Rocky Mensah are exploring new ways to recover minerals from urban or mining waste sources with promising results.
The Centre’s Annual Report is available on the ARC Centre of Excellence website. Be sure to check out pages 19 – 22 for insights into their work to recover tin, silver and iron ore from waste sources.
COEMinerals, based at our University, is a national research centre funded by the Australian Government through the Australian Research Council Centres of Excellence funding scheme. The Centre’s diverse scientific team is addressing key industry and environmental challenges associated with mineral processing and recovery.
