Abstract

To meet the demands of the energy transition and decarbonisation, the world needs an increase in supply of metals like no other time in history. The challenges this imposes on process development will be discussed in the form of a call to arms to do things differently.

Biography

With over 27 years of experience within the mineral resource industry, Amy’s expertise spans technical and production management across multiple commodities and disciplines, strategy development, strategic planning and project management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines, a Master of Science in Mineral Processing Engineering from Montana Tech and a Global Executive MBA from Monash University. Her current roles include Chief Advisor Process Development at Rio Tinto and Director on the Board of AusIMM.
